MAC look part 1 - peachy eyes

Pigment eyeshadow in Tan (MAC)
Pro longwear eyeshadow in weathered (MAC)
Mattene Lipstick Semi-Mat in Delectable (MAC)
Hi guys,

For my mystery project, I have to look my best because there will be lots of pictures taken. This week I received a wonderful package with some MAC and RITUALS make-up products form the october collection. These babies will help me look my best for my mystery project !
What better way to present them to you, than by shooting some looks for you!
This is the first look that I created. A soft look.

How did I create this look? :
1/ use MAC painterly paint pot as a base on the eyelid, the pigment eyeshadow will hold better with a cream base . (you can also use Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion or a small amount of liquid foundation)
2/ Apply a small amount the eyeshadow 'weathered' with the finger on the lowest part of the eyelid (doesn't have to be clean, it will just give a blue undertone to the 'Tan' pigment later on). The eyeshadow is a nice blue jeans color, with grey undertones. ( perfect for creating a blue smokey eye !)

3/ Use the pigment eyeshadow in 'Tan' all over the eyelid. Than using a MAC 217 blending brush , blending it into the socket of the eye. ( 'Tan' is perfect for every color skin tones, remember that metallics are thé trend for fall!)

4) Apply some lip balm to your lips (this is in preparation for the lipstick later on)
5) use concealer under the eyes, around the nose, and where you need it
6) Apply foundation ( I used a barely there foundation)

7) Finish off with Matene lipstick Semi-Mat in Delectable. This is such a great lipstick for all different looks because it has a peachy-nude color and doesn't shine to much . When I have to attend meetings, I can't wear a glossy lipstick or a lip gloss. This lipstick that MAC has created is so perfect, the color subtile and semi-mat ! I've been testing it and it also stays on for a very long time , which is what I need for work !

my next look will be a blue smokey eye look !

These MAC products will be available from October in MAC stores, go get it tigers !!!
