Delicate Reds

Hi Everyone, 

1 of the things that can completely change your whole look or appearance is a bright colored lipstick. A lot of people are afraid that it's not for them, but I believe that it suits everyone! You just have to find the right shade for you, So et involved with a bright lip by wearing a gorgeous classic red lip color. If you still need some convincing, you might want to start off by using a inexpensive version and switching to an expensive version later on. 

Before I start telling you which lipsticks are which, I would like to give you a handy tip when scouting for your (next) red lipstick  : Always test the sample lipstick , if available, on the back of your hand because they don't always are what they look like. Sometimes the shades turn out more orange of pink toned when applied. Oh, and remember : the key to a perfect red pout is a matching lipliner ;-) .

I've lined up some of my personal favorites high end red lip shades. Some of them are matte , some shiny but all of them are very long lasting and simply perfect!

The creme de la creme , packaging-wise, is this gold diva from Dior in the shade Diorific 038 'Diva' . This the kind of lipstick that makes you want to do touch-ups in public even when your lip shade is still perfect. The gold over-the-top packaging is sublime ! This orange-toned lipstick from Dior is matte which makes it very long-lasting. That total package makes it number 1 on my list.

Nars Jungle Red, Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet 317 La précieuse, MAC Red. 

These 3 shades all have a pink-ondertone. The NARS one is really matte which maybe isn't the best one to apply if you are a newbie. I find that lipsticks with a matte texture are best applied with a brush for a more preciser look. The Chanel one looks like it's a matte one, but it's actually more of a creamy texture. It's the one who is the most pink-colored out of all 3 . The Mac shade is the most pigmented which is a perfect red lipstick for newbies to apply. 

Le Rouge Givenchy in 306 Carmin Escarpin

This Givenchy cutie has a really modern & sleek packaging. It's silver colored & leather exterior. The logo is also nicely embossed on the lipstick. This a luxurious creamy red lipstick which makes your teeth look whiter because of the blue undertone. It's easy to apply and this shade suits almost everyone.

Chanel Rouge Allure 09 Lover , Dior Rouge dior 999

This Chanel lipstick is the very first high end lipstick that I ever bought. It looks a bit scary and a plum-like red, but it's actually a nice pink-red shade when applied. It stays super long and is very creamy. 

The Dior lipstick is my newest addition the my red shade family. This color is a creamy orange-red shade. I used it a few times and every time I wear it, people complement me on it so I guess it a pretty nice red shade ;-) 

I'm not saying that you should own as many high end red lipsticks as myself, it's just that as a makeup artist & beauty addict, I've collected them over a long period and it is necessary to have different shades as a makeup artist.
