Hi everyone,
I’ve been wearing
this makeup look non-stop lately, so I thought it was time for a tutorial on
this look!
It’s a soft brown (I
would dare to say day-time appropriate ) smokey eye look that suits lots of
people. I added some separate false lashes for extra drama. I only added false lashes on the outer parts
of my lashine to create a more winged cat-eye effect. The contouring and blush
was kept minimal to draw focus on the eyes.
It was also the first
time I used the L’Oréal Nude cushion foundation. There weren’t many shades
available at my local drugstore, so I picked up 2 foundations (1 more
yellow-toned and 1 more pink-toned) . I
would say that neither of them is my exact right shade, but I believe I can get
away with using them if I blend them out on my neckline.
I have quite oily
skin, so I definitely needed more powder during the day. I think I will love
this foundation during the winter months when my skin can use a bit more
moisture.
The Urban Decay products that I used in this tutorial are heaven... they are so creamy and they blend well. The highlighters in the blush palette have been my go-to highlighters since I received the palette. Let' just say that I'm a big UD fan!
The products:
Urban Decay Vice Reloaded palette
Urban Decay X Gwen
Stefani Blush Palette (review on my blog here)
Urban Decay X Gwen
Stefani Brow Box (blondes) (review on my blog here)
Collection 2000 Concealer – 1 fair
L’Oréal La palette nude (lip palette)
L’Oréal Nude cushion
foundation in 06 & 09 (I used 06 in this tutorial)
Eyelure individual
lashes (small, medium, large)
Duo lash glue (transparent)
Eyeko mascara
That's so cool, love your style!
