FashionwiseTravels : Visiting the Peak District at Derbyshire with BMI Regional (Part 1)

The start of our adventure began here !
We took a BMI regional flight  from Brussels Airport to East Midlands Airport . It was an 1 hour flight. Flying always feels so special to me and I love the part where you get to fly above the clouds which gives you stunning views like these. Flying BMI regional was different for me because it was the first time that I flew in a smaller aircraft. I did feel like I was flying a private jet :-) They even serve small snacks and drinks on board.

BMI regional flies from Brussels to various Uk cities like London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bristol, etc. We landed on East Midlands Airport which is a cosy little regional airport near Nottingham. The airport hosts shops like Booths & Superdrug + restaurants like Burger King, Flat White and Pork&Pickle.
We were only flown out for the day which was pretty hectic , so on our way back we got to relax at the Escape Lounge at East Midlands Airport where we could enjoy drinks & food and really unwind from our hectic trip.

First stop was Chatsworth House located in the heart of the Peak district, which is the home of the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire.

Chatsworth area is home to a few thousands of sheep. They can run freely and whenever they feel like grazing across the road, local traffic comes to a stop.
