Le Chavignol // Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium

A while back I got the opportunity to discover this hidden gem in Louvain-La-Neuve called Le Chavignol. Only a 30 min drive from Brussels, Belgium.
When I first saw how grand the stunning building looked from the outside, I was expecting it to be very formal but much to my surprise, I was welcomed in a cosy ambiance with only a few tables.

The hostess with the mostess. Well, it's true when it comes to Le Chavignol. The hostess created all of the artwork herself and you can really tell that she's super passionate about her work.
You can also by her work.
While admiring all of the stunning artwork, we got to sip a special aperitif of the house: champagne mixed with  nut sirop. Such a simple combination and yet surprisingly tasteful!

The chef really made sure that all of his dishes were infused with rich flavors.

Every dish was fresh and flavorful which tells me the chef works with the best ingredients.

When it comes to wine I can honestly say that their housewine was 1 of the best wines I've EVER tasted ( pinching myself right now for not writing down the winelabel)

After all that delicious food I ordered a cup of tea and got the cutest blue teapot all for myself. There's just something very relaxing about taking the time to pour your own cup of tea.

Special thank you to Le Chavignol & Ariane for such a remarkable evening!
