Mini Getaway: Le Florentin, Chocolats d'Edouard & Orval // Florenville, Belgium

Hi Everyone,
Do you too have the need sometimes to have a mini break from your hectic day to day life ? Yes, me too! So when I got the chance to explore Florenville, I accepted without hesitating!  aaaaaand you can take that very literally.... like....  I actually checked in  (after a 2hr drive) and was then told the press trip was next month! hahaha that shows exactly how much I needed a break!
Luckily the hotel owner Stephanie & Pr representative Ariane arranged everything within half an hour so I didn't have to leave! So big thank you goes out to them!!!

Getting there:

After a 2hr drive from Leuven, Belgium we noticed the landscape changing. We were excited to see more forest greens and snow (which we weren't expecting at all!)

Florenville, in the distance.

Where to stay : Hotel Le Florentin

we checked in to Le florentine which is a 4,5 star boutique hotel in Florenville.

look at the stunning design details!

Having drinks at the bar

After checking in to Le Florentin, it was time to start our perfect getaway with drinks at the bar. The bar is so a true hotspot which makes every interior design junkie's heart skip a beat! I could have spent a whole evening lounging and listening to the talented piano player mixing some of my favorite current songs with some well know classical tunes.

The spa at Le Florentin

What makes the spa at Le Florentin stand out from other hotels? The infrared cabin with salt! Definitely a must because it's so unique.

Chocolat tasting at Les Chocolats d'Edouard

After a lovely breakfast we were invited by mister Edouard himself to taste some of his famous chocolate at his tearoom Les Chocolats d'Edouard.  He's so passionate about his work and could talk to us the whole day ! He only uses the best ingrediants which was very true since even I (a non connoisseur) could taste the difference between his chocolate and a Leonidas chocolate for example.
