A romantic autumnal getaway at Hotel Heritage

Hi everyone,
This past weekend was one the cosiest getaways in a long time. We took a trip up north to Brugge and stayed at hotel Heritage. It was a very autumnal getaway and even the hotel had autumnal decorations which I can appreciate as a season-fan.
Hotel Heritage is located near the town center so it's the perfect location with all of the hotspots at walking distance. They are also a member of Relais & Châteaux since 2009.

This luxury hotel even won the World Luxury Hotel Awards award for most romantic hotel in the world.
Although this is a fancy luxury hotel, there is still a relaxed and warm atmosphere.  We felt very welcome and all of the staff was very friendly. Hotel Heritage definitely deserves their award for most romantic hotel. From the french 18th century inspired furnishing to the state-of-the-art amenities the hotel owners ( Johan & Isabelle Creytens taught of everything).

We checked into our classic room which felt very spacious. The room felt very cosy with classical music softly playing in the background. The bathroom was also very luxurious with all of the marble and a big shower head. They created the perfect balance between modern and classic.

The lounge is very charming and decorated and feels very luxurious and homely at the same time.

Hotel Heritage has its own bar/lounge which is called 'Le Magnum'. After exploring the city of Bruges we relaxed in the lounge and had drinks before we headed up to our room to get ready for dinner. A little tip: I highly recommend the white house wine.
I already felt so festive (especially with all the autumnal garland above the fireplace) and can't wait to see what Hotel Heritage will look like during the holiday period.

Although it was a very rainy day, Bruges still felt very romantic with all of the stunning medieval buildings.

After exploring Bruges, we got back to our room and got ready for dinner at Le Mystique restaurant.

Chef de cuisine Gregory Slembrouck creates pieces of art. He pairs french and flemish cuisine which is paired perfectly with exceptional wines (hand selected by management).

Le Mystique is housed in a stunning 1869 room located  at Hotel Heritage. It reflects the glorious past of the house. You can almost imagine the grand dinners that took place in this exact room many many years ago.

After a very good night rest we woke up with a very sweet note that was slipped under our door which showed the weather forecast of the day.

We had THE most INCREDIBLE breakfast ever. I mean, this isn't your average breakfast buffet... Everything was freshly made and they even brought hors d'oeuvres such as burrata and tiramisu to our table

A special thank you goes out to Ariane and Hotel Heritage.
Although this was a gifted stay, all views are my own.
